Haha, that’s a good one, and honestly, it’s probably true.It feels like OpenKO, Rise Online, and Knight Online had a baby. I hope one day we can see a complete version that is ready to play test.
Thanks! I actually spent a lot of time optimizing the server side. I tested it with bots at around 10,000 concurrent users sending packets through network on the same zone, and it stayed stable at roughly 20% CPU usage with no noticeable lag, so .NET 10 has been working really well so far.Hi there. Its look very Cool. But you need to choose c++ for server. I tried .net before(to learn MMO development details). And it was wrong. I understand this too late. It can be work, okey, but we build MMO, son we need more scale. To be honest, .net platform never be like c++ for mmo performance. If you wanna develop an action MMO or closed world MMO then you can choose it. But I know that you know it already. Maybe you can try to develop with another sources like ıstırap.
Also I need to say that, as a unity game dev, graphics look amazing for godot.
Video please
Thanks! A lot of the core stuff is working already: combat, parties, PvE/PvP, NPC buy/sell/repair, all zones, quests, skills, warehouse, item upgrade, mob drops, etc. It’s just not at the point where I’d call everything polished yet.it really looks great! what is completely finished and what is still left right now? thanks for your hard work

releasing this project as open source would be a huge contribution to the community. godot is such a lightweight game engine . thanks again. if you have a github link, i would love to follow alongI will not launch a server, just a hobby, it will be released as open source soon.
